Responsible for assisting the Director Manager through supervising the day to day department activities. Assist in facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating unit activities for the provision of quality patient care within the framework of the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health. • Valid AL RN license required. Associates Degree in Nursing and four (4) years of Staff Nurse experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors Degree in Nursing and two (2) years of Staff Nurse experience in the department is preferred.
• Organizational skills. Analytical and problem solving skills. Interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to show initiative and leadership in patient care. Ability to effectively communicate to patients, guest, and coworkers. Ability to coordinate the activities of those persons supervised.Basic Cardiac Life Support (Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
