A premium gourmet bakery manufacturer is seeking a full-time picker to join the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of one to two years of food manufacturing experience is required.
• Must speak English!
• Basic Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Must be able to lift to 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours required. Core hours are 1 PM to 11 PM, Sun through Sat, with a day off.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or customer.
• Fills requisitions, receives orders, and takes orders.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment necessary for the manufacturing of food products.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Previous experience in packing is helpful.
• A basic understanding of safe food handling practices
• Independent, hardworking, strong, energetic, and self-motivated
• The ability to stand 8-10 per shift.
• The ability to lift to 25lbs+ numerous times per day.
• The ability to work at a fast pace.
• Neat and organized.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and understand pick slips and invoices in English.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
