Parts Salesperson

Description

We are looking for a talented Parts Salesperson to join our team specializing in Service for our Branch in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Under moderate supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch parts in the local branch, checking for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Carries out customer parts counter duties under moderate supervision including receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk in customers, completing all paperwork and processing it accordingly, handling cash, check and credit card transactions.
• Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch incoming and outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Communicate with internal and external customers by phone and in person at local branch to address their needs and issues in timely manner.
• Utilize various systems, catalogs, resources while collaborating with Technicians and other Parts personnel to identify and procure parts in the most cost and time efficient manner.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Knowledge of BMS Invoicing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Zoom, Internet, generating reports and advanced level computer skills.
• This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
