AS A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT STUDENT, you'll work closely with our Clinical Nurse Educators and a preceptor to learn the essential duties needed to become a Patient Care Assistant at Penn Highlands DuBois. The course is a combination of classroom time and hands-on training.

• Course Dates: June 17 to July 29, 2024
• Shift: Rotating Shifts 6am-6:30pm/6pm-6:30am, every other weekend, every other holiday
• Pay Rate: $13.36/hr - earn while you learn!
• Toward the end of the 6 week course, successful students can apply and be considered for any current Patient Care Assistant positions available at Penn Highlands DuBois only

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be 16 years old & currently enrolled in high school
• Must have an interest in patient care
• Must be a team player
