AS THE PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT/UNIT CLERK, you'll be under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, and the Medical/Surgical Nurse Manager, this role is responsible for performing clerical, and receptionist duties. As the Patient Care Assistant, and under the supervision of Professional Nursing personnel, this position assists and provides patient care utilizing established standards of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in a health assistant program at a vocational school
• Must have patient care experience or completion of one semester in a healthcare related field
• Must have current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Must have Comprehensive Crisis Management certification or be obtained within 12 months of hire
