Maine Medical Partners Neurology has an immediate full-time opening for a BC/BE neurologist with fellowship training in Movement Disorders. The appropriate candidate would join our well-established neurology division, which consists of 23 physicians, including five Pediatric Neurologists, and nine Advanced Practice Providers, with on-site MRI and neurodiagnostic lab in a brand-new facility. The Neurology group has been the premiere site for neurology care in Maine since 1988. Our multidisciplinary approach to patient-centered care results in excellent clinical outcomes, close to home in a collegial and innovative setting.

Opportunity highlights:
- Join two movement disorders specialists, a dedicated nurse practitioner, neuropsychologist, social worker and 1:1 nursing support.
- Hospital admission service, stroke and telestroke management, and after-hours phone call coverage is provided by a team of dedicated Neurohospitalists.
- Inpatient coverage is limited to an equitable share of daytime coverage on the consult service four to five weeks per year.
- Opportunity to teach Neurology residents, residents and fellows from other departments, and medical students.
- Opportunity to participate in a robust and well-established movement disorders surgical program serving the entire state of Maine and beyond.
- Work closely with our Neuroscience Institute in support of our multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular, stroke, epilepsy, and movement disorders programs.
