Looking for an individual to join a small development/support team within PI Tech Architecture to enhance/support Architecture cloud applications. In addition, this individual will have the opportunity to participate in POCs conducted by the PI Tech Architecture team for new technologies and patterns.

Impact:

Provides senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Integrates third party products.

• Engage with the PI Tech Architecture Chief, Senior, and Domain Architects.
• Work with PI Tech's latest technologies and implementation patterns to solve Business Use Cases across Retail Systems.
• Work with the technical Lead and architects to in Personal Investor Architecture team to support architectural components from the DB2 Modernization program.
• Have the flexibility to experiment and develop Proof of Concepts with cutting edge services including AWS Services, Vendor software, as well as Vanguard Implemented services.
• Contribute to Retail Systems' future direction in collaboration with the Retail Architecture architects and management.
• Strong technical experience in Java and AWS

What it takes:

• Ability to work independently implementing POCs to solve Business Use Cases
• Hands on experience with Java, Python and AWS.
• Desire to research and develop solutions with both existing and new technologies
• Communication skills to present solutions to Retail Architecture Management
• Desire to participate in discussions/design sessions with GTO and CTO on new technologies.
