Koch-Glitsch, a Koch Engineering Solutions company is looking to add a Plant Manager to our team located in Wichita, KS. The Plant Manager is responsible for driving the strategy and provide leadership in a fast-paced, engineered-to-order manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with local, regional, and global leaders to apply proven practices that ensure continuous improvement and drive transformation. In this role, the Plant Manager will work cross functionally to meet operational objectives through the application of our Principle Based Management Philosophy This position is an opportunity to be part of a successful and transformative organization that offers a tremendous amount of growth potential due to the high level of visibility within the enterprise.

What You Will Do
  • Provide leadership of an engineered-to-order metal manufacturing facility including people, processes, and equipment
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation and transformation of the business
  • Advance culture through the application of our Principled Based Management business philosophy
  • Recruit, challenge, and develop the future leaders of the plant and company
  • Possess a focused approach to achieving high levels of quality and customers satisfaction


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience leading and managing direct reports including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and compensation and incentives
  • Experience mentoring and developing leaders
  • Experience communicating and partnering with all levels of an organization
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strong economic thinking skills and understanding of Decision Making Frameworks.


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • Experience working in a large, complex business environment
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Experience in leadership within a Koch company
