Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Controls Product Engineer have the responsibility for validating propulsive controls. You will have the opportunity to restrengthen existing robust verification methods, support test execution, and demonstrate results through data analysis and reporting. This is a hybrid role in Dearborn, MI.

Specific responsibilities include:

o Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software on HIL and vehicle

o Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to determine root cause

o Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA

Store and retain documents and test records according to established guidelines

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering field of study
• 3 years of experience with automotive embedded systems software
• Experience with testing methodologies

Utilizing multi meter, scope, logic analyzer, etc.
• Understanding of vehicle structure, subsystems, & components

GAS, HEV, & BEV
• Experience with module hardware & software architectures

PCM, HCM, TCM, BCM

o Satellite processors - ABS, SJB
• Experience with calibration methodlogies & tools

ATI Vision & ETAS INCA
• Experience with CAN networks & OBD systems & related tools

CANalyzer, PTDiag

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred:
• Understanding with module emulators & interfaces

M5, M6, A7, A8, etk, xetk
• Tier II cert
• Able to perform normal driving procedures
