Position Summary: The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive engineering guidance within the manufacturing environment, offering project management support and customer-facing engineering expertise for both new and existing products. The focus will be on developing and modifying plant production processes, analyzing product designs to optimize production capacity and minimize manufacturing costs, and representing Diamond-Drives LLC to customers and industry groups.

Position Summary: The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive engineering guidance within the manufacturing environment, offering project management support and customer-facing engineering expertise for both new and existing products. The focus will be on developing and modifying plant production processes, analyzing product designs to optimize production capacity and minimize manufacturing costs, and representing Diamond-Drives LLC to customers and industry groups.
Key responsibilities:
- Offer engineering expertise on products and their applications to develop optimal design solutions aligning with customer needs, Diamond-Drives financial objectives, and manufacturing requirements.
- Contribute to the design of new product applications by applying current and innovative engineering principles.
- Conduct and document all necessary engineering analyses and tests to validate designs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to engineering standards and quality systems.
- Engage in engineering projects requiring analysis and problem-solving to meet customer requirements.
- Develop and implement new engineering standards, technologies, and innovative applications.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing manufacturing costs and enhancing efficiency.
- Generate manufacturing routings, bills of materials, and other essential system data within SAP.
- Travel to customer sites, providing expertise on chain applications.
- Deliver presentations to customer groups and distributors on chain fundamentals.
- Assist department in any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with 3+ years of relative experience.
- Experience working with customers preferred.
- Project management abilities.
- Customer and team-oriented mindset.
- Learning agility.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in solid modeling design.
