Linde Advanced Material Technologies (Linde AMT), a subsidiary of Linde, Inc., a Fortune 300 company that supplies atmospheric, process, specialty gases, high-performance coatings, and related services & technologies is seeking a Production Technician - Operation Technician in our New Castle, PA plant.

Production Technician - Operation Technicians perform a wide variety of tasks in the areas of part preparation, part handling, shipping/receiving, maintenance, and general housekeeping with the expectation of meeting customer needs and expectations.

• Performs all aspects of part preparation i nc l ud i ng c l ean i ng processes, mask i ng techn i ques, str i pp i ng processes and gr i t b l ast i ng i n accordance with job i nstruction s , standard cards and customer spec i fications

• Respons i b l e for hand l i ng customer parts throughout the production proces s . Th i s i ncludes us i ng cranes, fork l ifts , carts to l oad/un l oad c u b i cles and to transfer parts to and from the various work areas

• Performs aspects of post coat i ng fin i sh i ng i nvolv i ng but not l i m i ted to brush i ng techniques on screws, blades, disperser rolls, shrouds etc .

• Recogn i zes faulty operation of eq u i pment by s i ght and sound, makes m i nor repai rs and adjustments , performs routi ne preventive mai ntenance and cleans equipment as required (IE: grit Blasting, stripping, and brush finishing equipment)

• Performs a var i ety of tasks i n s h i pping and receiv i n g . These i nclude but are not l i mited to: u n l oad i ng and unpack i ng parts and mater i als, ver i fy i ng cou n ts and i nspecting items for damage, adequately pack i ng parts and l oad i ng for sh i pment

• M a i nta i ns a c l ean and orderly work area and pract i ces good general housekeep i ng at all times

Qualifications:
Requirements

• High School degree or GED is required

• 2+ years' experience working in a production/manufacturing and/or plant environment preferred

• Ab i l ity to complete tra i n i ng i n the use of cranes and fork l i fts for mov i ng customer parts and fixtures as well as formal tra i n i ng and certification i n e l ectro l yt i c s t r i pp i ng

• Ability to work from written instructions

• Strong focus on quality with the ability to multi-task

• Must be able to work overtime and the shift outlined in the posting
