The Production Technician II, Processing will utilize experience and training to manufacture pharmaceuticals in a strictly controlled GMP environment. The employee will progress through a number of job functions and be required to demonstrate increasing skill levels. Responsibilities include:Comply with all Company and GMP compliance policies/proceduresPerform area sanitization procedures in a GMP Manufacturing facility (Formulation Rooms, Staging Areas, Raw Material Dispensing Room, and Airlocks)Perform filter integrity testingClean miscellaneous pieces of manufacturing equipment and vesselsPerform raw material weighing (dispensing) and bulk formulationAssist PT3 operators as instructedPerform system maintenance PM's / proceduresPerform sterile filtrations, unload the autoclave, and complete Steam-in-Place operations, as deemed necessary by area managementAssist in training/directing PT1 operatorsPerform other duties in support of the production schedule as assigned by area supervisionAttend mandatory annual hazardous waste training meeting(s) and demonstrate competency in that training by passing test(s) administered by the company or consultant providing such trainingPerform special projects and other duties as assignedAs a part of the employee's job requirements, the employee may be required to handle wastesincluding hazardous wastes.
