BC Forward is looking for Program Coordinator 1 (Remote Work) in Indianapolis, IN 46204
Position Title: Program Coordinator 1 (Remote Work)
Location: 550 N Meridian Indianapolis, IN 46204
Anticipated Start Date: 6/19
Expected Duration: 12 months.
Job Type: Contract to hire
Shift: 8:00-5:00PM EST, no weekends
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr on W2.
Job Description:
Generates, processes and maintains provider and member correspondence for preservice and concurrent review.
Education/Experience:
Requires a High School diploma or GED
Requires 1 - 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge of denials process including understanding medical record information preferred.Generates correspondence from EMR documentation and ensures correspondence tasks are processed in a timely manner to ensure compliance according to regulatory standards and policies
Updates and maintains correspondence templates based on regulatory, and interdepartmental correspondence inquiries
Coordinates all data collection, analysis, and reporting activities that impact the denial process
Assists with the compliance and turn-around time (TAT) log for all correspondence notifications
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
• Maintain Case load:
• Daily outreach 20 - 40 calls daily
• Monthly Quality Audit score 90 - 95%
Attend Corporate orientation x 4 weeks, check in with hiring Supervisor to ensure receipt of equipment and access to MHS/Corporate Computer systems.
Understanding of basic medical terminology
MA, QMA, CNA
Call center experience (recommended)
Good customer service skills
Ability to problem solve basic computer issues.
Reliable internet access
Managing Excel spread sheets.
Work with multiple computer systems.
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity requirements.
2 years' experience in medical office
Required Skills/Experience:
Proficient Computer Skills
Ability to work in multiple computer programs
Experience in Microsoft Word / Teams / Excel
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Member Engagement
Telephonic Cold Calling Engagement skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Education Requirement: High School graduate
Education Preferred: MA, CNA, QMA
Software Skills Required: Reliable Internet/Telephone connection
