Education: Bachelor degree

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom or other remote meeting application, Box for cloud storage, Learning Management Systems (LMS) experience a plus

Alumni Relations & Development (ARD) engages alumni (~190k), current students, parents and friends of the University of Chicago through intellectual, professional and social activities on campus, around the world and online. ARD raises $600 Million annually to support faculty and researchers, practitioners and patients, and students and programs across the University. Our work supports priorities in every division, school, department, and institute.

Department Summary:

Analytics and Technology Solutions (ATS) drives data and technology strategy for Alumni Relations and Development (ARD). ATS provides systems, tools, analytics, and reporting that support ARD engagement, participation, and fundraising goals. In partnership with University stakeholders, we seek to understand business needs and deliver transformative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

1) Provides administrative support for software implementation project team and interacts with ARD staff regarding project tasks and duties in a manner consistent with UChicago culture through quality and timely service delivery

2) Organizes and schedules staff training sessions, (remote and in-person), meetings, reserves conference rooms, maintains attendance log, prepares agendas, takes notes as-needed, downloads session recordings to project online workspace

3) Coordinates systems projects in line with project plans and at the direction of project leadership and leads; helps maximize the efficiency of the project

4) Is available on-site to greet guests at Harper Court and other office locations during regular business hours; provides support of in-person work sessions; travels to other campus locations during the work day; and arranges catering for team events as needed

5) Stays informed of activities relating to projects, apprising team members of issues when necessary

6) Uses general understanding and experience to administer daily operations and delivery of services to project team, resolves mostly routine and some complex inquiries

7) Assist with various data projects, LMS administration, and other related work as needed

8) Is flexible, comfortable with ambiguities, and adaptable to change in evolving internal and external environments
