Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.
• Will be responsible for creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test Driven Development, static code analysis, peer/code review).
• Design and develop key application components such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, Spring, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, GitHub, Docker, Identify & Access Management (IAM)
• Developing front-end website architecture using technologies like AngularJS, Next.JS/React.JS Node JS etc.
• Develop integrations with Content Management System to build page templates and page compositions.
• Developing back-end website applications using Java, NodeJS and related frameworks.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

The Team

Our Digital Foundry & Operations works with the Customer & Marketing group to bring a flexible capability and fluid capacity model to the delivery of small technology projects and enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

• 4+ years' experience working as a Java Full Stack Developer creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards.
• 4+ years' experience of JavaScript, Angular, and HTML
• 4+ years' experience of experience with Spring, Node.js, MySQL
• 4+ years' experience of experience with MongoDB, GitHub, Docker, and Identify & Access Management (IAM)
• Must be able to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Must be able to start by July 8 th , 2024

Preferred

• Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
• Excellent Written and Communication Skills
• Ability to deliver technical demonstrations

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,000 to $180,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
