Project Engineer
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can leverage your engineering expertise to bring complex projects to life? As a Petrochemical Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of capital projects within the petrochemical industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the execution of capital projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Provide technical and project management oversight across project phases of construction, and chemical maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, licensors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Review and approve engineering designs and specifications.
  • Manage project costs and ensure adherence to financial budgets.
  • Track project progress and identify and address any deviations from the plan.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports to management.
  • Coordinate the work of assigned staff and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, environmental (SHE), and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering or project management within the petrochemical industry (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of petrochemical processes and equipment.
  • Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Excel Background required
  • Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6,or MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
