Project Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of capital projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Provide technical and project management oversight across project phases of construction, and chemical maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, licensors, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Review and approve engineering designs and specifications.
- Manage project costs and ensure adherence to financial budgets.
- Track project progress and identify and address any deviations from the plan.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports to management.
- Coordinate the work of assigned staff and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, environmental (SHE), and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering or project management within the petrochemical industry (preferred).
- Strong understanding of petrochemical processes and equipment.
- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel Background required
- Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6,or MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
