Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Engineer for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include utilizing the Indysoft calibration system of record to enter new equipment into the calibration system, act as lead investigator for risk identification notices, coordinating equipment repairs or disposition as required, ordering support materials, and conducting inventory of customer owned test equipment. The Project Engineer will work closely with production supervisors, engineers, security, quality and lab personnel to identify, plan, and execute activities required to maintain ready-to-use test equipment.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Detail oriented
o Proficient data reporting skills, MS Excel or other data tools
o Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction once a task is clearly communicated and understood
o Demonstrated communication skills in team environment
o Candidate must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance and obtain an interim secret security clearance before starting the position.
o Bachelor degree or related work experience
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Experience using tableau, Excel or other data tools to develop repeatable processes for data cleaning, manipulation, and filtering for reports
o Experience manipulating large datasets
o Experience with specialized application software SAP
o Experience working in a defense company with engineering or manufacturing background
o Familiarity with functionality of basic electronic components
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree or related work experience

4/10 work schedule
1st Shift 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
