The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary & Critical Care Specialist. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine.

This faculty position will have responsibilities and duties of patient care including attending on inpatient MICU service, interpretation of PFTs, performing bronchoscopies and other critical care procedures, and teaching of residents and subspecialty fellows at Parkland Hospital and its affiliated hospitals.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.

This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
