Position Overview:
The X-Ray tech performs diagnostic quality digital X-rays for the TB Elimination Program according to APH guidelines, policies, and procedures. X-ray tech provides services for a variety of individuals including TB cases, TB contacts, TB suspects, refugees, and persons in congregate settings.

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for the program or service with digital X-rays and PACS .
  • Maintain X-rays according to established practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Schedule patients for X-rays in support of clinic activities and/or referrals from other sites.



Sign-On Bonus (*For those meeting eligibility requirements):
This position is eligible for an APH Sign-On Bonus.
  • Immediately upon hire - $500
  • Complete 1 year of service with APH - $1000
  • Complete 2 years of service with APH - $1500

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

  • Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures for the program or service with digital x-rays and picture archiving and communication system ( PACS ).
  • Maintain x-rays according to established practice, policies and procedures.
  • Schedule patients for x-rays in support of clinic activities and/or referrals from other sites.
  • Maintain equipment using quality checks, arrange preventive maintenance as indicated.
  • Order/issue supplies and parts as needed, assure adequate inventory is maintained.
  • Assure that x-ray services are in compliance with licensing, inspection and safety requirements.
  • Push/pull stretcher to transport patients.
  • Compile data reports for management review by designated deadlines.
  • Assist in developing and revising operating procedures.

    • Skill in data analysis and problem solving.
