We are seeking a REGISTERED NURSE to work in Ironwood, Michigan in the Emergency Department of Aspirus Ironwood Hospital. While specific tasks may vary general responsibilities include:

• Provides nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and supervises other members of the nursing health care team.
• Will cross-train to another department.

Experience/Qualification/Licensure

• Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• Previous experience in an acute health care setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NRP and PALS preferred.

Hours: This position is Full Time; 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period. Day shift, 7a-7p.

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 4 bed ICU, 3 bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 10 patients per day. The outpatient clinic has over 50,000 visits annually.
