Insight Global is looking for a technical writer that can help our client document a strategy to modernize their processes, connectivity and infrastructure within manufacturing or a machine tool shop environment. The client has been awarded a contract to develop a 20 year strategy for the plants and they need a technical writer to help make sure all of the documentation is done properly. In order to be successful this candidate has to have experience writing technical requirements for a plant, manufacturing or tool shop facility and be familiar with terms and equipment that they use. They will partner with an architect for specific technology requirements and all other writing will be their responsibility.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of technical writing experience

Experience writing technical requirements for a manufacturing or machine tool shop environments

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Project experience supporting the government
