Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.

T he Women's Outreach program (WOR) offers hope, love and assistance for women in recovery by removing substance abuse as a barrier to employment and living in the community. The Women's Outreach program includes both residential and intensive outpatient services that address risk factors for relapse. Services support women in achieving abstinence, maintaining recovery, avoiding illegal activity and meeting parenting responsibilities. The program also provides supports to help women obtain employment and transition into safe and stable housing.

Available shift: Days vary, Second Shift: 3pm - 11pm

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Performs direct care as outlined in the HR policy/procedures manual.
  • Assists in orienting and checking in new consumers.
  • Search belongings on returning individuals.
  • Performs various administrative, clerical, and documentation.
  • Administers drug screen.
  • Operate motor vehicles to transport individuals to and from various appointments.
  • Maintain a high level of encouragement and respect to all individuals being transported.
  • Adheres to safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Adheres to facility dress code.
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Managers.
  • Must complete all mandatory training during fiscal year.
  • Follow established policies and procedures for unscheduled absences.


Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Gender specific program requires female staff.
  • Ability to deal effectively with conflict situations, manages aggressive behavior, and use non-violent crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques.
  • At least one year's experience working in mental health or substance use disorder field preferred.
  • Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and have good 7year motor vehicle report.
  • Bi-lingual abilities a plus
