Main Goals and Objectives:

You will be part of a 3-person field team working with Bentley dealers throughout the Americas Region to ensure that the Bentley Americas' Marketing and Communications annual plan is shared with all Americas Region Bentley dealers (currently 59); and that those dealers are developing and executing marketing and communications and marketing plans that leverage the minimum marketing spend required by all dealers; that those plans amplify Bentley's positioning, marketing and communications objectives, product offering, and other services; and that the retail network is generating qualified sales lead to target levels in order to achieve the region sales and aftersales objectives.

Specific Goals:
  • Deploy the Marketing and Communications Plan to retailers (each calendar year) and then support them in developing their individual MarCom Plans which will be reviewed, updated and approved by you each quarter
  • Review monthly retailer activities providing counsel to retailers regarding sufficiency to meet/exceed Lead targets, and report to Director of Marketing and Regional Directors when retailers are falling behind in Lead Generation, discuss and develop countermeasures, and then counsel dealers on countermeasures, as necessary
  • Support retailers in implementing MarCom activations, coordinating a quarterly review, and working with retailers throughout the year to counsel on marketing actions, events or other activations to achieve spend
  • Conduct monthly assessment of sales plan and aftersales plan performance, conduct monthly alignment sessions with retailers, and counsel retailers regarding MarCom activations to achieve sales and aftersales goals
  • Monitor daily retailer adherence to the Retail Marketing and Communications Policies, counsel retailers on deviations, provide monthly compliance reports to the Director of Marketing

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will personally work with approximately 1/3 of the Bentley dealers and support them in developing individual retail marketing plans that are consistent with Bentley Motors Americas annual plan and that are based on an analysis of local customer base, local market conditions, competitor activity, and retailer marketing performance based on new car, preowned and aftersales

  • You will ensure each Retailer has an appropriate and active marketing plan that is recorded in the Bentley Dealer Marketing Planner and that delivers to target and brand standards and optimally deploys the brand experiential platforms, activities, fleet, and assets

  • You will support regional Retailers through participation in regular meetings and by developing best practices to share with Bentley retailers. If in the future Bentley creates Regional Marketing Teams, you will be a key figure in the formation and organizing of the Teams and facilitation of meetings

  • You will counsel dealers and you will work in partnership with various colleagues across the organization to support Bentley's sales and aftersales objectives, including Regional Directors (Sales Operations); Regional Aftersales Managers (Aftersales); Director of Marketing, Director of Communications & Brand Experience Manager; Sr. Marketing of Operations , Sr. Brand Experiential Specialist, and Bentley's retained marketing, communications and events agencies


Qualifications:

Skills, Experience, and Education

  • 10+ years demonstrable experience in marketing activities with an affluent audience for a luxury and / or automotive brand
  • Demonstrable strong sales management experience minimum 3 years
  • Clear understanding of commercial or retail marketing
  • History of establishing relationships with retailers, key internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior management commercial and/or performance negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions, reason, and problem-solve independently
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative
  • Focuses on Customer Service, demonstrates team orientation, builds and sustains relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related business field preferable


Practical & Technical Knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe creative applications
  • Analytical thinking, creative and systematic working habits, precise and reliable decision making, good organizational and interpersonal skills, take-charge attitude, demonstrate own initiative, in an outgoing personality
  • Self-starter who can work independently, yet collaborate effectively with department colleagues
