Ultimately responsible for the operation of the unit on their assigned shift as it relates to coordination of clinical care delivery, staffing, and physician satisfaction.
• Responsible for cost targets as evidenced by meeting budget expectations.
• Responsible for staff satisfaction as measured by percent of licensed turnover.
• Responsible for employee satisfaction as evidenced by the annual employee survey.
• Responsible for patient satisfaction as demonstrated by unit PSMS scores.
• Responsible for unit staff meetings and town hall meetings with 75% of employees attending.
• Must achieve satisfactory quality scores as evidenced by scores on departmental walk-throughs and chart reviews.
• Performs management functions R/T HR activities such as employee counseling, monitoring of attendance and educational needs.
• Responsible for accurate shift report.

Qualifications:
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Experience
Required: 1 year RN experience.
Certifications
Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
