The Boat Captain will be an integral part of The Chatwal Lodge team. They will maintain a schedule of boating activities that is curated to the desire of The Chatwal Lodge Guests while ensuring all activities and equipment are safe and clean.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Pilot/Captain one boat for guest rides or activities e.g. Fishing Excursions, Picnics, etc.

• Maintain an activities schedule curated to the guests needs.

• Oversee daily boating activities.

• Clean and put away recreational equipment daily after each guest use.

• Maintain activities equipment to ensure equipment is always in safe working order.

• Organize and maintain the equipment storage area daily.

• All other tasks and duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $25.00- $27.00. The hours for this position will be Thursday - Sunday 10:00am - 6:30pm through October 15th.

• Must have NYS Boater’s License

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

• Must be able to stand long period of time and walk long distances.

• Must be able to swim.

• Must be willing to become First Aid & CPR Certified

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

• Must be able to communicate effectively.
