A healthcare provider in the Medical Center of Houston is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join their team to oversee and coordinate a major Cisco switch refresh project. As the Senior IT Project Manager, this person will assume a comprehensive leadership role in the Cisco switch refresh project, overseeing its entirety from initial planning to final implementation. Duties will entail close collaboration with third-party implementation teams and coordination with location IT managers and healthcare leaders to schedule and execute tasks with minimal disruption. Additionally, you will conduct thorough Quality Control assessments of completed work and serve as the primary liaison with the corporate Network Manager. Additionally, this person will facilitate and lead team meetings, anticipate future workloads, coordinate equipment readiness, supervise cable vendors, manage inventory and procurement, and conduct inspections of IDFs with cabling vendors to maximize performance and prevent workflow interruptions

Required Skills & Experience

* 10 years of experience as a Project Manager within infrastructure or networking

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Visio

* Strong understanding of network switching and routing, fiber and structured cabling, UPS and PDU power management, Wi-Fi, LAN, VoIP, and POTS technologies.

* Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and high character
