This role is with the Cognizant Enterprise Integration (EI) and Digital Process Orchestration (DPO) within Enterprise Platform Services Team. Cognizant's EI &DPO practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. EI &DPO practice has strategic alliances with "best of bread" platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls
• Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join their team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Palo Alto firewalls and web traffic decryption.
• The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures that support our business operations and protect against cyber threats.
• Solid background in network administration and architecture.
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP), web traffic encryption/decryption, PKI and certificates.
• Familiarity with network access control model and network security.
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Develop and implement security measures such as web traffic decryption for servers and users.
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., firewalls, VPN, and etc).
• Resolve escalated issues from support tiers by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
• Automate network tasks and validate their effectiveness.
• Monitor network performance and integrity, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Maintain complete technical documentation of the network and security infrastructure.
• Suggest improvements to network security capacity, and scalability.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 to 110,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
