Role Overview:

Our team is seeking a talented, experienced, self-directed Senior Product Manager - Technical, to join an organization that is responsible for driving adoption of the AWS platform by startups around the world. As a Senior Product Manager - Technical, you will play a critical role in shaping the customer experience for startups onboarding to AWS and growing their businesses. You will work closely with engineering, data science, and generative AI teams to develop innovative solutions that address the unique needs of our startup customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data to build customer-obsessed, functional, simple, and beautiful products to help startups grow their business on AWS. We are building a new platform to serve as the one-stop-shop to help all startups with the resources they need to grow and succeed - technical enablement and best practices, business guidance, AWS credits and so much more. You will define and own the roadmap and the implementation of products and features that AWS startup customers want and need.

You will collaborate with Startup Sales, Startup Business Development, and Startup Marketing to understand and define startup customer needs and translate that to features and products. You will work with a talented development team to build these products and get them into the hands of customers. You will measure your work, and rapidly iterate and improve products based on your measurements. Above all, you will delight startup customers with functional, simple and beautiful experiences.

Key job responsibilities

- Deeply understand the pain points, challenges, and growth drivers for early-stage startups

- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and generative AI teams to design and build customer-centric products and features

- Leverage predictive analytics and machine learning models to forecast startup growth and proactively address roadblocks

- Utilize generative AI capabilities to create personalized content, recommendations, and solutions that assist startups in onboarding and scaling

- Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve our offerings and deliver maximum value

- Serve as a subject matter expert, evangelizing our solutions and educating both internal and external stakeholders

- Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between business, technology, and customer needs

- Strong understanding of cloud computing, particularly the AWS platform and services

- Proficiency in data analysis, predictive modeling, and the application of machine learning

- Experience working with generative AI tools and technologies

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

- Passion for helping startups and entrepreneurs succeed

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
