UVA Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to plan, manage, and track complex Information Technology infrastructure, integration, and technology systems projects. The SPM will play an instrumental role in advancing technology across the UVA enterprise. The Senior Project Manager will be a part of the ITS Project Management Office, responsible for managing high priority, complex IT projects within the CIO Portfolio.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of directly relevant IT project management experience successfully managing complex technology projects and teams for infrastructure projects OR Equivalent combination of experience, education, and certifications
  • In-depth knowledge and experience planning and executing large, phased technology rollouts using multiple PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
  • Collaborative IT professional who has led project teams through multiple, enterprise-scale, complex technology initiatives and major process/change management initiatives with successful and tangible outcomes
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills
This is a 3- year term-limited University Staff position with benefits. There is a possibility for extension, based on the continuation of funding.

Anticipated hiring range- 95,000-115,000
