Job Summary . PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:The Locker Attendant will be responsible for the cleanliness and stocking of all guest supplies of the Chuan Spa. This position is a true guest service function requiring an individual that approaches the spa as it were her/his home as they welcome and care for quests during their visit at the Spa. Housekeeping functions consume approximately 65% of the associate’s day, along with the ability to service several guests at one time.RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES: • Maintain complete knowledge of:o All hotel features / services, hours of operation o All Spa services, retail and professional products.o Fitness Center programso Scheduled daily group activities• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures.• Greet each guest with a warm welcome and fond farewell.• Provide continuous guest service, anticipation of guests’ needs.• Maintains proper linen pars on a daily basis.• Stock linen closets and guest lockers.• Maintain cleanliness of linen areas.• Upkeep cleanliness of spa locker rooms and grooming stations.• Maintain cleanliness of all guest dry and wet lounges.• Stock and maintain hospitality stations.• Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously.• Handle guest complaints by following the instant guest pacification procedures and insuring guest satisfaction.• Ensure that providers are paged and/or advised of arrival of all guests.• Notify engineering with all maintenance needs.• Assist Fitness Center, Salon & Spa when needed.• Perform any task deemed necessary by management.• Set up workstations with necessary supplies. Maintain cleanliness throughout shift.• Legibly complete requisition for additional supplies/materials and submit to Spa Front Desk Supervisor.• Review in-house guest list and be familiar with guest names and room locations.• Maintain cleanliness of Spa.• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.Salary Range $20-$25.70 Requirement . PHYSICAL DEMANDS:• Periods of standing exceeding 50% of shifts are required.• Activities include standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, lifting, carrying, seeing, hearing, talking, walking.• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including pushing and pulling on a daily basis.SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:• Ability to promote Spa products and services.• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous. • Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Salon & Spa desk.• Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions.• Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.• Ability to focus attention on details.• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data.• Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.• Flexibility in schedule.EDUCATION REQUIRED:• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
