Responsibilities
The Acute Care Therapy Department at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center provides the evaluation and treatment of patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding medical setting. Our Therapists are critical members of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to achieving optimal outcomes for our patients. We are committed to teamwork and collaboration; our participation in interdisciplinary patient rounding occurs daily on a number of units throughout the facility providing therapy professionals to work autonomously.
We are searching for the perfect SPEECH PATHOLOGIST who is passionate about the health and well- being of our patients to provides patient care including evaluating patient for treatment, developing plan of care, establishing goals, and assessing progress toward the attainment of goals, consult with other health care disciplines to co-ordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patient and instructs patients and care givers in home programs for exercises and functional activities.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Arizona Speech-Language Pathology License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- American Heart Association BLS required.
Preferred:
- Bi-lingual-Spanish/English
