Austin, Texas

Employer: Favor Delivery
Industry: Product

Job type: Full-Time

The Favor Product team is looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to set the vision and strategy for our suite of products across customers, Runners (that's what we call Favor delivery drivers), restaurants, stores, and internal teams. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for working with the Product, Brand, and Marketing teams to shape the vision of our products and share them with relevant parties. They will have a pulse on the competitive landscape within the technology and on-demand sectors and will use this knowledge to inform product and marketing decisions. The ideal candidate can bring their past experience to the table to position Favor as the best product for customers, Runners, and partners and help us differentiate ourselves from our competitors.

What you'll do:

  • Own and develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the Favor brand and products in the on-demand market
  • Plan the marketing strategy behind new product launches and releases while collaborating with our Integrated Marketing team on the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Drive engagement among Runners, customers, and merchants by developing a cohesive strategy that ties in with our value propositions
  • Collaborate with the Research team to help generate insights that shape the product strategy
  • Communicate the value of new products and features to internal Product and Marketing teams.
  • Be the expert on best practices in Product Marketing strategy and communications
  • Work with our Brand Strategy team to differentiate Favor from the competition in the on-demand community through programs, messaging, and product recommendations
  • Evaluate product effectiveness in driving customer value and collaborate with Product teams during post-launch measurement to inform future product enhancements and development
  • Collaborate with our Creative and Integrated Marketing teams on a go-to-market strategy across marketing channels, including emails, push notifications, and a wide range of promotional materials
  • Establish and lead cross-functional teams and projects

Skills you have:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience
  • Experience launching consumer products at scale within an agile software development environment
  • A proven track record of being the sole owner responsible for creating effective product marketing programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
  • Experience working directly with product managers, designers, researchers, business analysts, and marketers-and an ability to “speak their language” when needed.
  • Excellent written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A degree in computer science, business, or a related field is a plus, but not required

Who you are:

  • You thrive while leading in a fast-paced, regularly changing environment. You turn chaos into order, and you love doing it. People look to you for guidance in times of turmoil.
  • You are most comfortable when there's too much to do. You aren't easily overwhelmed and you prioritize tasks naturally. You're not afraid to focus on one thing at a time when it's needed.
  • You have a high dynamic range. You can see the big picture but are comfortable diving deep into the details. You're not above rolling up your sleeves and doing the grunt work.
  • You are confident but humble. You can make decisions with the wisdom to change course as soon as needed.
  • You can synthesize data, form hypotheses, develop insights, and propose actionable solutions.
  • You have a strong understanding of the various functional aspects of a product and marketing organization.
