Job Description:

The Manufacturing Engineering role applies expertise to directly contribute to the development of new energetic materials manufacturing concepts and techniques. This position exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Essential Functions:

• May plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant project assignment, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff and suppliers in the performance of assigned projects.

• Plans experimental feasibility studies and investigations to formulate problem and validate solution methods.

• Interprets analytical and experimental data including forecasting the significance of the conclusions reach on future related work.

• Develops and review statements of work and statements of requirements for compliance with L3Harris safety protocols and US Government safety specifications and requirements documents.

Qualifications:

Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area. May have in-depth knowledge of project management. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Some knowledge of Aerojet Rocketdyne (Missile Solutions) product lines
• Background in Engineering and/or technical development is preferred
