JOB DESCRIPTION:
Substitute Teacher positions are on an as needed basis.

Substitute Teacher select jobs in Frontline based on their own availability and APS need.

Substitute positions are in person & virtual based on the need of an individual school.

• APS cannot guarantee assignment availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sign up and complete 22 substitute jobs per year.


• Safety and Security of students is the number one priority.


• Showing up on time to an assignment, in person or virtual.


• Staying the entirety of the sub job that you signed up for.


• Ensure students do not lose a day of learning by completing the teacher's instructions provided.


• Partner with the main office if no plans are provided, to ensure students do not lose a day of learning.


• If a sub signs up for a virtual job, please have your own computer and reliable internet access.

EXPERIENCE:

• No experience needed, please see qualification requirements.


• Self-paced online training will be provided via Frontline Professional Growth after on boarding and orientation for substitute classroom management, virtual learning, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Please read the application instructions carefully and submit all documentation to be considered for a position as a substitute teacher or assistant.

• Required Copy of Official/Unofficial College Transcripts with at least 30 credits (for consideration for substitute teacher)
• Recommended Two letters of Recommendation/Reference (professional or personal letters)
• Please ensure to upload all of your documentation directly to the system when applying for the substitute position.
• It is imperative to have a completed application to be eligible to be reviewed.

9. Click the Submit button on the left.

10. Click the Submit Application button to finish applying for an APS position(s)
