The Insurance Legal team has an internship opening for summer 2024. The internship will include the following functions:
  • Reviewing registration statements for Equitable's variable insurance products and other related reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Identifying key terms in product prospectuses that may require revisions due to certain planned product enhancements
  • Assisting with the development of common content in various prospectus books
  • Identifying differences in disclosure between similar product features and performing root cause analysis and contract interpretation to determine if the differences are required and/or intentional
  • Identifying and documenting "variable disclosure" that allows for product differentiation within a common content disclosure structure
  • Identifying gaps in existing common content disclosure caused by the introduction of the final RILA Rule

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate
