Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner serves as a strategic business partner with JHS hiring departments to attract and retain qualified and culturally fit candidates, support the business needs of the department/unit by executing people strategies associated with recruitment and retention.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the recruitment of specialty positions. Work closely with the business owners (hiring managers) to forecast recruitment needs. Assist in the implementation of recruitment strategies to directly drive staffing efficiencies and reduce overtime & agency utilization. Effectively and creatively source candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the job. Constantly seeks out and recommend creative new ways of sourcing talent. Maintains a strong pipeline of candidates for the specialty areas being supported. Recruits, evaluates qualifications of candidates, interviews, refers candidates, coordinates pre-employment process, and effectively negotiate and close job offers. Provides recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers. Work on team projects like the University relations program, internship program, professional and/or university recruiting events, Talent Acquisition branding/marketing initiatives, team training opportunities, etc. Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise). Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in related field is required
Experience
Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
License/Certification
Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
Life Support Certification Requirements
BLS ACLS PALS NRP
Knowledge/Skill/Abilities
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment. Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.
Physical Demands
Job function is sedentary in nature and requires sitting for extended periods of time. Function may require frequent standing or walking. Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Jobs in this group are required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: extended use of computers, preparing and analyzing data and analytics, and other components of a typical office environment.
