E-commerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As the regional leader of listing governance, you will be highly data-driven and make strategic decisions regarding regulatory compliance, product quality and safety, product catalog control, product listing integrity and all relevant enforcement strategies. The quality of our businesses(sellers) and their products is a critical pillar to ensure our mission of providing high-quality products, fast and convenient fulfillment experience and good seller services.

What You'll Do
- Directly lead and manage teams focused on Product Compliance, Product Quality & Safety, and heavily collaborate with Strategic Risk & Incident Management teams to address escalations from Legal, PR/Media, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Organization Design and expand the Listing Governance team, and provide mentorship and guidance to build a successful multi-layered team. Set and manage team goals in support of GNE, US and AMS goals. Manage staff planning and contribute to budget planning process.
- Responsible for sellers' listing compliance management and developing data-driven strategies and enforcement approaches to enable the e-commerce business, evaluate policy adherence, documentation and behaviors to meet our regulatory and platform performance bar. You may also support other international launches.
- Oversight and ensure constant improvements in customer complaint rates and other topline metrics.
- Gather, and analyze data, metrics, and trends and work with partnering teams to identify gaps, opportunities, risks, and develop improvement plans across the listing governance lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify opportunities in the implementation process and lead efforts to optimize strategic process and product gaps (e.g. identifying product solutions to automate enforcement, increasing productivity with new internal tools).
- Drive programs to mitigate and launch enforcement strategies targeting problems ranging from illegal/prohibited listing, compliance related documentation and certification, low category NPS, bad user rating, mis-placed listing and low quality listing information
- Triage risk and benefits of opening of high risk categories and design enforcement programs to ensure safety and monitor risks
- Collaborate with the global team to drive key metric improvements in areas related to listing compliance and provide subject matter expertise to other cross-border selling projects
- As the team grows, this role will be responsible for building the team, cultivating and providing guidance to team members and designing career development opportunities for them
- Perform other responsibilities as needed;

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in consumer product safety within the E-commerce industry, compliance or regulatory research fields; Expertise in food/toys/beauty quality operation or regulation policy is a plus
- At least 4 years of people management experience in managing multi-cultural/multi-location teams
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience acting as a program manager and collaborating with XFN teams to drive end results
- Understanding of product compliance environment or regulatory trends in North America, especially the United States market, is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualification:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating effective, clear and professional written and oral communication.
- Demonstrated past success working in a matrix environment and ability to influence key stakeholders
