An Oil and Gas client of Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Tool Assembler to help with the assembly and disassembly of Downhole service tools, including but not limited to wellbores, packers, valves, production seals, and well-screens, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. This person will be responsible for disassembling and cleaning of service tool equipment, ensuring that each piece is thoroughly cleaned, oil-dipped, softly assembled, and correctly staged for final inspection. This ideal candidate will identify alternative solutions or approaches to solving problems and must adhere to all Safety and Security policy initiatives. This role requires an on-call work schedule, seven days a week in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Machines and Tools
including specific uses as well as the procedures for their repair and maintenance.
- Requires basic mathematical skills for taking accurate measurements, performing calculations (related to the assembly process), and ensure accurate assembly.
- Proficiency in computer usage is necessary for tasks such as data entry and reporting. (MS office)
- The candidate must be capable of comprehending written statements in work-related documents. This includes the ability to understand and interpret technical manuals, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous downhole tool assembling experience
- MS office for data entry and reports
- Current health, safety & environmental (HSE) training (Includes both regulatory and SES required courses)
