Minimum Qualifications

Position Summary

TRIO Talent Search Academic instructor/in school tutor to assist Talent Search middle and high school students during the 9 months after school tutorial component.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

A sincere commitment to the educational needs of the target population and in motivation of youth from low income, first generation families, and the willingness to stimulate positive activity of program staff. Should demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of economically and educationally disadvantaged youth. Bachelor's degree in Educational designated subject area or closely related field is preferred; experience in teaching or classroom demonstration is preferred.
