Position Overview:

This is for a newly launching major premium experiences and hospitality program. This role will lead the design and management of the Finance and Accounting function for a major newly launching Premium Hospitality program. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial planning and analysis, accounting and controllership experience in events and or hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 2 direct reports (Senior Director FP&A and Senior Financial Controller) and their wider teams to deliver end to end Finance and Accounting Function
  • Support the build and development of a wide-ranging finance function across FP&A, Management Accounting, Controllership, AP, AR, Cash and Treasury management in conjunction with the wider On Location Finance Function
  • Lead the project's core financial process including annual plans, quarterly, and monthly forecasts.
  • Manage and lead full scope finance planning and accounting resources.
  • Partner with divisional and program leadership to formulate forward-looking strategy and growth plans.
  • Analysis of operating results compared to plan, prior periods, and forecasts. Includes institution of the framework for P&L analysis
  • Preparation of financial presentations for internal and external use
  • Manage the full monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial and management accounting process in line with On Location wider company timelines.
  • Lead regular reporting to key partners and On Location management.
  • Perform balance sheet and cash flow analysis.
  • Prepare consolidated forecasts, budgets, and multi-year financial plans and analyze trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures, and other related areas.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and forecast.
  • Support all external financial reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Lead the development of financial models to adjust forecasted results for changes in currency, economic environment, additional headcount, and efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee, with the support of the key partner's Financial Controller and wider On Location Controllership function, audit requirements and responses to questions and inquiries.
  • Budget and manage capex plans and projects.
  • Ensure a no surprises culture where finance has a key seat at the table when discussing any decisions with financial impacts.


Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant certification with relevant Accounting and Finance delivery experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree desirable but not essential.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, with demonstrated competence in all functional areas.
  • A proven level of collaboration, partnership, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strategic business relationships to establish rapport and credibility are required.
  • Experience working in senior financial leadership roles, specifically with public companies in both Accounting and Finance
  • Solid track record and experience with all aspects of finance in a global company with operations in Canada and Mexico
  • Experience in Events or Hospitality
  • Competence in thought leadership; thinking strategically, analytically, conceptually, and innovatively.
  • Leadership capacity to play an integral role in company growth.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Range Minimum:
$172,500 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:
$230,000 annually
