Description

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods.

Safely operate a variety of material handling equipment, including narrow aisle and wire-guided powered industrial trucks.

Confirm customer orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations.

Pack hazardous and non-hazardous items for shipment, following established procedures and regulations.

Communicate with procurement and customer interface departments to address discrepancies or product issues.

Schedule dock appointments with carriers and external vendors.

Maintain accurate records of orders and inventory.

Assist with training new employees and troubleshoot systems issues as needed.

Report any safety hazards or concerns to team leads or management.




Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.

Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of SAP and WMS systems preferred.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to safety and adherence to all applicable regulations.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [insert weight] pounds).
