Job Summary

Under moderate supervision, assist with the development and support of Client Services and Support initiatives at Indiana University. Perform analysis, programming, troubleshooting, bug-fixing, tuning, data conversions, testing, documentation, and support of team applications and services. Works as part of a team and demonstrates a high degree of self-initiative and commitment to expand skills and expertise through a variety of methods, including self-study, working/mentoring with colleagues, and both internal and external training. Able to work on programming tasks on own but requires additional supervision and instruction in analysis phases of systems development. Develops, tests, and deploys complex programs. Assists with management of application releases. Develops interfaces between systems. Collaborates with functional business clients and teams within the central information technology organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field;

2 years of experience in C# .NET Framework, Entity Framework, ASP.NET/ADO.NET, as well as the following web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML 5, Bootstrap, T-SQL, AJAX, or XML/XSL; 2 years of experience with GitHub, Microsoft TFS, Web API and MS Visual Studio or VS Code as well as stored procedures, functions, triggers in SQL Server; 2 years of experience with full development life cycle (including design, coding, testing, and deployment), Waterfall or Agile SCRUM methodologies with the ability to define, estimate and deliver scope in the determined deadline; 2 years of experience with IIS servers; 2 years of experience with AngularJS; 2 years of experience with PowerShell; 1 year of experience with ReactJS.

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
