We're looking for a creative, curious fabricator with experience in core welding and fabrication skills but is really driven by high quality fabrication. This job will allow you to be creative with tools to help you fabricate state-of-the-art equipment used to service the aviation industry. The Aerospace Equipment Fabricator role requires someone to truly think outside the box when determining what should be customized for the job at hand. This role requires someone with experience in several different skill sets spanning a few different fields including mechanical work, fabrication work, welding, and manufacturing.

Some specific day-to-day activities include:

* Fabricate, repair, and develop multiple types of aerospace support equipment

* Applying principles of welding and fabricating

* Embrace lean manufacturing

* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, meeting customer deadlines

* Ability to read blueprints and drawings

* Perform other related tasks as assigned or required to support fabrication operations: inventory, clean-up, testing, procurement, etc.

Position is being offered at 45,000.00-52,000.00 depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

* 4 years of experience in welding

* High School Diploma or GED

* Experience focused on trade skills such as welding, fabricating, machining, etc.

* Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and able to lift 50lbs

* Experience in the following: Aluminum MIG and TIG

* Reliability and willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Design and manufacturing experience

* Fabrication apprenticeship in the craft or equivalent training at a trade, technical school, and/or military training
