126-24 Fleet Service Attendant: Perform a variety of duties related to routine preventive maintenance of city owned vehicles and equipment,
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, some experience in servicing motor vehicles is preferred. Valid Oklahoma Class B CDL with air brake endorsement must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Essential job functions: Maintain clean work area; clean shop and equipment daily, empty trash in shop, wash vehicles and clean interior and glass, change engine oil and filters, air filters, cabin filters and grease vehicles, inspect vehicles for proper fluid levels; refill reservoirs as necessary, examine tires for proper air pressure, tread wear and other safety hazards; pressurize to established level; replace worn or unsafe tires as necessary, service batteries on vehicles; replace batteries as necessary. assist in the keeping of maintenance records for all maintenance supplies used, assist in performing mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on city vehicles and equipment, maintain grounds around the shop, perform other duties as assigned. This position reports to Supervising Mechanic.
Starting rate: $15.17 per hour (position pay ranges from $15.17- $18.97 per hour) plus comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, Annual leave, Sick leave, Holidays, and Personal Days.
