170A WOAC WEB Application Security Instructor/Writer

Description:

Seeking a highly motivated 170A Warrant Officer Advanced Course (WOAC) WEB Application Security Instructor/Writer to support the Cyber School at Fort Eisenhower.

The Army established the Cyber School of Excellence (CCoE) to train the new Cyber Branch/Career Field 17, which includes courses for MOS 17A, 170A, and 17C.The Cyber Branch primarily provides trained personnel to Army Cyber Command's Cyber Mission Force (CMF) teams. The position will provide instructional support to the 170A WOAC course.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Design and develop curriculum content for advanced scripting modules in accordance with 170A WOAC objectives.

• Create instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments to facilitate effective learning outcomes.

• Design, deliver, and update the WEB Application Security course within the 170A WOAC Course

• Maintain classrooms, and support the training and training development requirements of the Cyber School such as: determining individual critical tasks and learning objectives

• Review/modify course materials; assist with developing training support documents including lessons plans, individual student assessment plans, POI, and practical exercises; present course instruction IAW the POI and Lesson Plan; and maintain classrooms.

• Demonstrate model behavior and professionalism at all times

Required Skills:

• A minimum of five (5) years either performing web application security testing/defensive strategies or proposing mitigation strategies in line with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.

• Understands software development lifecycle (SDLC) process within enterprise applications like ASPX, PHP, MySQL, SQL, or NoSQL that allows for effective Defense-In-Depth strategy

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity OR five (5) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO).
