Position Description

The Technical Associate for Kit Assembly on 1st Shift is responsible for understanding and executing manual assembly and production tasks in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete all production-related documentation accurately.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate production equipment in the assembly area.
  • Maintain product quality standards.
  • Assist with the setup and preparation (counting/verification) of necessary production materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
  • Support department and corporate objectives.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable quality and environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, MDD, IVDD, EU-PSHA, OSHA, etc.).

Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related work experience, or an AA degree with related experience.
  • Preferred understanding of FDA and cGMP regulated production practices.
  • Strong knowledge of job tasks with minimal to general supervision required.
  • Proficient in operating general/automated laboratory or production equipment.
  • Computer literate.
  • Efficient in managing time, equipment, and materials.
  • Capable of accurately completing and reviewing production-related documentation.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to independently resolve production issues.
  • Capable of working safely and effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicate issues and problems effectively to supervisors.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, quickly shift priorities, and multitask professionally.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • No travel required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods.
