FALL 2024 COLLEGE INTERNSHIP

As Ohio's Secretary of State, Frank LaRose is doing his part to deliver a thriving democracy and a prosperous economy for all Ohioans. In his role as the state's chief elections officer, he's working to ensure that Ohio's elections are both secure and accessible. And, as the first stop for new businesses in the Buckeye State, he is assisting entrepreneurs as they receive articles of incorporation for a new business.

The Ohio Secretary of State is currently seeking candidates for the Fall 2024 College Internship Program.

Looking for an internship that makes a difference? Interested in government? Learn from the best elections and business administration teams in the country! During the most challenging election year in history, Ohio ran its most secure and accessible election ever. We got that done while also helping new entrepreneurs create the highest number of new businesses ever in one year.

This was made possible by our elections, legal, outreach, communications, finance, information technology, and other teams that together work toward the same goal: to deliver a thriving democracy and a prosperous economy for all Ohioans.

The Ohio Secretary of State's office is charged with ensuring Ohio's voting process, recently called "the gold standard," is secure, accurate and accessible. We also serve as the sole authority to receive and approve articles of incorporation for Ohio businesses. This duty provides a unique opportunity in government to make a difference statewide while impacting issues nationwide.

Students exploring careers in political science, law, communications, business, IT and finance, to name a few, can gain valuable experience while earning course credits.

We are looking for students to fill multiple roles as interns in the Secretary of State's Office who want to work twenty to forty hours a week. If selected, we will work with your schedule, so you get the most out of your time in our office!
