Currently, CNCA has six campuses that serve approximately 3,500 students from TK through 12th grade.

CNCA is currently seeks candidates who are committed to serving in under-resourced communities. We are seeking teachers who embrace research-based, innovative curricular frameworks such as a balanced literacy approach and conceptual based math. Our approach to teaching and learning involves a deep commitment to ongoing teacher professional development, and collaboration. Teachers must be visionaries, eager to be in the forefront of educational practices and must embrace the challenge of demonstrating that public education in a low-income, primarily immigrant, multilingual community can succeed. Teachers will perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Plan and deliver instruction for assigned music courses
- Prepare and implement lesson plans that align to the California Visual and Performing Arts Standards in Music as well as cross-curricular grade level themes as applicable
- Regularly assess student progress to refine and differentiate instruction
- Develop and execute culminating experiences for students such as recitals, concerts, etc.
- Foster a positive environment of learning and growth that is motivational for beginning and advanced music students
- Assist in the development of art and music curriculum standards and mapping across the school
- Create and execute a scope and sequence, long term plans, and unit plans in collaboration with central Programs team
- Participate in coaching, collaborative meetings, and professional development opportunities to improve music program and instruction
- Communicate frequently with students, students' families, colleagues and other stakeholders
- Work closely with children and their families to promote personal growth and success
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance
