Summary

Chicago FC United, a youth soccer club based in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Youth Boys Director for our Youth Development Phase (U11-U14). Our directors play a pivotal role in providing our players with solid foundations in line with our club philosophy, curriculum and vision. We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated person looking to develop soccer players in a fun, competitive and player-first driven environment while implementing Chicago FC United's methodology.

Job duties include:
  • Oversight and management of approximately 12-14 teams in the Youth Boys Development Phase. Develop relationships with players, parents, and teams within this Phase.
  • Head Coach for 3 teams within the FC United Boys Program
  • Lead, mentor, develop and support coaches working within our Youth Development (U11-U14) Phase.
  • Manage opportunities for players within the Youth Development Phase to train and play up to maximize developmental opportunities
  • Aid in implementation of club mission, values, style of play, game model, training methodology, curriculum within Youth Development Phase
  • Administrative tasks related to management of teams within the Youth Development Phase (tournament registration, managing guest playing opportunities, scheduling intraclub friendlies, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other club Directors to advance the goals of the Chicago FC United Boys Program


Requirements
  • A current/valid USSF Coaching License - Minimum C License or above
  • Experience working with competitive players in the U11-U14 age groups
  • Experience as a youth soccer club Director
  • Superior organization and communication skills
  • Willingness to continue coaching education through attending USSF and USC coaching licenses in the future. Chicago FC United offers a License Reimbursement Program and supports all staff members who desire to further their coaching education.
  • Ability to work late afternoons/evenings and weekend hours
  • Must pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver's license, and have adequate transportation
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S
