JOB SUMMARY:

Provides Able Aerospace company-wide support for technical training and document control activities. This role supports the company's technical document control library in compliance with company and regulatory directives. This role also involves working closely with quality, operations, engineering, and business development functions to ensure internally and externally controlled documents are maintained, and the required training is implemented and documented as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report and manage training records in Textron University to ensure accurate reposting of company compliance for certified and qualified skills per company policy
  • Manage and expand a training database system
  • Provide technical training for internal newly created or revised Standard Operating Procedures and Manuals (SOPMs)
  • Develop and provide technical training for new products developed
  • Develop and provide technical training for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) manual revisions or changes
  • Responsible for procedure development, implementation, and oversight for training, electronic class setups, electronic batching of rosters, email notifications, and training roster entry
  • Administer the collection, manual publication, storage and retention of electronic documents
  • Administer the document lifecycle (author, approve, publish, revise, retire, archive) for company documents, including drawings, procedures, and forms.
  • Prepare electronic document templates
  • Upload documents, update procedures, and create documents as required
  • Maintain the master document database.
  • Manage document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of documentation to site personnel
  • Perform and/or support regular audits of document control processes and procedures.
  • Act as Administrator for various Customer websites to give permissions to access.
  • Review compliance data and establish training department schedule to accommodate training requirements
  • Audit training data and ensure compliance and adherence to training requirements.
  • Ensure ISO/AS9100/AS9110, FAA Approved Training Manual regulatory requirements are met


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Thorough knowledge of surface treatments, stripping, blasting, machining, grinding, welding, shot peening, heat treatments, blending, bonding and NDT as it relates to component repair & overhaul.
  • Experience in conducting product, process or RCCA investigations and technical assistance of resolutions. Ability to conduct-internal & external audits as it relates to training and document control
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to make critical decisions and problem solve
  • Ability to write and develop internal procedures
